Just wondering if the Aluminium version of the Nomads swing arm will be a direct fit with the carbon versions mainframe/linkages?

I have just snapped my 2nd CC swingarm in 9 months & im keen to request the aluminium swingarm instead of carbon when they replace it under warranty.

It is a direct fit. The same links are used with both the aluminum and carbon frames.

Cheers mate,
I just received a email from the shop I bought it from saying that the alloy swingarm won’t fit the carbon frame, so they are just giving me another weak as piss carbon one.
Just like you I thought it would have been exactly the same.

I'd guess Santa Cruz won't give an aluminum replacement for a carbon frame because their engineers haven't analyzed that specific combo. If you were to ever find a way to do the swap it would be worth checking it's range of travel before riding it to make sure it doesn't ever touch the shock tunnel.
