Hello everyone. I'm shopping for a 48h ss disc hub. The only one I've found so far is the Halo hub. Does anyone run this hub or know of other options? Ps, I'm 285lbs so I need something stout. Thx in advance.

This.. You're not going to find a 48h 26" rim, even if you can find a hub.. I even looked on Tardy Bikes, a well known trials products site and everything is 32h

A properly trued AND tensioned wheel should be plenty strong, you're just going to have to do it or have it done (at a shop) more often.
But hey, look at ot this way, the more you ride, the lighter you get, so you'll be moving in the right direction..

That's interesting. I didn't know anyone still made 48h. I think they were more of a thing in the early 2000's.
