Live in Southern California and winter spots are lift served in big bear but when lifts close, always wanting to look for options near and far. Without riding uphill, what are the lift and or shuttle options for downhill across the country? I’ve heard wind rock is pretty amazing in TN. Interested in the opinions and ideas of the group, thanks

Lake Leatherwood, AR- no downhill bike needed, but the trail system is AMAZING in quality, design, and fun. Truly world class. No very steep, but enough change in elevation to allow for some very unique and some big feautures. Some good tech, and lots of man-made (but not all flow)

Bootleg Canyon, NV- rough, steep, technical. Not my favorite place to ride, but great for building tech skills, good race series, and a nice variety. Good mix of blue and black trails. If you're not used to riding steep, rocky, and techy sections, there is potential for you or your bike to get eaten by the terrain. Looks like you're riding on mars

Does anyone have an opinion of spider mountain in Texas versus Windrock in Tennessee?

dude, go to YouTube and watch the reviews on Spider!! I'm super stoked! I'm planning a trip there for New year's! .. "expensive" but if there aren't that many people there you can make lots of runs from what others have said

Windrock is actual downhill, spider is just lift served chill all mountain riding.

The quality of trails at Lake Leatherwood are much better than spider, and surrounded by great riding
