I need a new fork for a project I have started working on; a mullet warden. To maintain the geometry I need the 29er fork to be 150mm and no longer. I was going to get a fox factory 36 Grip 2 but they don't make it!? I can get a Fit4 version in 150. Wondering what you all think of this option or if you would recommend something else?

Have you considered swapping a 150mm air shaft?

Can the GRIP 2 160mm be shortened to 150? I figured the reason they weren't selling it was because it wouldn't fit or something lame like that. If I can just lower a GRIP 2 I'd be down with that.

The GRIP2 Fox 36 can absolutely be lowered to 150mm via a $42 air shaft. Should be just what you're looking for with your Warden project!

Thanks everyone. Ordered a 170mm 36 Grip 2 and going to lower it to 150.

Also, I noticed that my wife's 36 sits about 10mm into the travel. I was told this is because she is too light and the fork does this when it only has 40-50psi in it. I figure I can throw the 170mm air shaft in hers and it will sag down to the 160mm she is supposed to have.
