What model year are the bikes? What kind of riding do you want to do/what kind of trails are there in your area?

Generally speaking, the recent Trance models are dependable allrounders. A bit more traditional in terms of geometry, designed to cater for a wide variety of riders. Giant spec is usually good vfm too.

The G160 (I assume it's a '16 or '17 model) isn't the slackest by today's standards, but it had very progressive geometry at the time. Very long tube and reach numbers with very short chainstays. Reviews mentioned that this made it a bit demanding to ride (need to consciously weigh the front) but a rewarding ride if it suits your style. Spec is good for the price too.

So the question is do you want an allround trail bike or one designed to race enduros?
