Best paint for spraying fork legs & crown?

so, i took a punt and ordered a set of older fox 36 floats for my DJ bike.

Problem is they're white.

I want to spray them matte black or dark grey.

What type of spray paints should i be looking at to get a proper/ hard wearing finish for foot jams & general park riding?

Any tips would also be welcome!

I use Mercury Phantom Black Engine Spray Paint. Its specific for alloy surfaces. Can get it at about any marine supply.

Unless you are removing the existing paint, probably not going to be an issue, just do prep work, sand, primer, etc and some clearcoat to make it last
