Hi all,

I did some research on the web, but there isn't a clear answer on this. I found some forum posts but still not sure.
Looking to colour my hydraulic brake hoses cables of my Saints M820 brakes.

I found out that the brake hoses are 5mm in outer diameter. So I am looking around for electrical heat shrink wrap that goes over my brake hoses and then shrink it.

So for the electrical heat shrink - the shrunk diameter should be 5mm?
(Because the electrical heat shrink comes with a normal diameter, and the shrunk diameter. The shrunk diameter is after you used the heating gun. Not sure if it's OK for the hoses to have like a 4mm shrunk diameter over it.

Hopefully someone can answer this for me.....

It will be fine just don't let it get too hot, the heat shrink is not as strong as the hose, why is another matter
