Just about finished building my Ticket S, Fox 36 up front and DPS in the rear.

Given that it's not a trail bike I'm assuming you don't even set sag, are you guys actually messing with settings or are you just adding a ton of pressure to them for the landings? What about rebound/compression?

I am new to dirt jumping so definitely not hitting anything big, aka I don't "need" a Slopestyle bike.

That's what I figured and what I've read as well. But all the threads I found on this topic were many years old so wanted to see what people had to say. Thanks!

Put every volume spacer you can fit. Then crank up the high speed rebound and run max pressure. You'll still get some sag because of the negative air chamber, but the former the better for me.
