2020 Float DPS shock - 2 pos remote to 3 position lever conversion?

For the 2020 Float DPS shock, does anyone know what's involved to convert from the 2 position remote setup to the 3 position lever? Don't need the remote functionality and want to remove clutter from the bars. I've read that on older models it required a new eyelet assembly and a full rebuild (ie. not a DIY project). But looking at the newer style it doesn't appear the eyelet is any different between the 2 models. Hoping it's just a matter of unbolting the remote assembly on the shock and bolting up the lever assembly. Anyone know?

Yes, unfortunately not an easy job, and one that requires special tooling. It requires a new eyelet assembly, a new valving assembly and a full rebuild with a nitrogen charge (as quoted from a Fox Service tech). In the end I just bought the shock I wanted instead of doing the conversion.

Oh that’s a bummer. In the market for a Blur but don’t want the remote! Cheers for getting back to me on an old thread Smile

The new Blur TR doesn’t come with the remote. I have a 2019 and I’m too trying to get rid of it, but can’t find a 3-pos one for sale.

I bought a SidLux ultimate for my Blur. It does not have the remote. It seems to work as well as the Fox. I need to run more air in it though.
