Recently had my 2013 slx m675 right brake fail. I have rigged a temp replacement, but will want to replace that brake back on the bike for eventual sale. If I understand the ispec series, this is ispec A, where the shifter has a small hook as part of the attachment to the brake lever.
I expect this brake will be tough to find. Can I use an ispec B brake instead, possibly removing the hook off the shifter? Any other options to use an slx brake from that era?
Tnx

You'll have to do a DIY modification to put the I-Spec A shifter onto the I-Spec-B lever..
