All decent full squish but have you considered second hand? This time of year people are buying the 202 bikes and getting rid of very good 2019 bikes. You can get a massive amount for your money.

You could probably get more for your money with direct to consumer brands like YT/Commencal/Canyon/Rose bikes.... than the big brands.

I would also check 2nd hand bikes, but that could also depend on how savvy you are at fixing your own bikes, and checking for possible problems.

I am kinda trying to avoid second hand bikes because you never know what they can hide to be the problems so i prefer to buy new one with varranty and everything even if i get a bit less than from 2nd hand.

yeah they are all good bikes, used might be worth considering though.. If you have a mate that knows a lot about bikes, take him with you to go check it out. But if you are saying no to used, that is completely understandable. And as said above, direct to consmumer will probably get you more bike for your buck

I prefer to test bikes in shop to see how i like geometry and feeling of bike before i buy thats why i also prefer to avoid buying online. But prices in my country for those bikes vs on manufacturer site(s) were almos the same. Giant was actually even cheaper in my country.

Just over budget. Last raw Tr 29ers. Fast bikes and very capable. Not bad spec as 1x12 gx and a decent fork.

something that you could do, if no shops around you carry one of the bikes you are looking at, go look at a used one from buysell or craigslist, that is near you, not with the intention of buying it used, but intending to feel the bike, and if you like it, then you are no buying it online completely blind

That's a good point. Buying new gets you the assurance of a warranty at least. If it's from your local shop, then support there as well.

Some goofball in another thread says test rides and demos are essential, in this thread everyone is saying buy used sight unseen much less with a test ride.

The advice here is so f*cking random.

goofball. Once again, I said nothing about test rides or demo rides, I said get on a bike and see if you like it. That is the only real way to tell. And as I also said, I have nothing against tech, I find it interesting.. But not everyone knows for example, the exact difference between 26. vs 29 wheels. they are 2 numbers to beginners, they don't know how they change speed, rolling resistance etc. Just take a breath, this is all opinions, I am not trying to come across as a jerk.
