Im looking to buy a new bike soon. The bike I want has Shimano M420 brakes on it as its a lower end model. My current bike has Shimano Saint M810 brakes on it that still work perfect. Do I swap my old brakes on to the new bike or will I not see enough of a difference between an 8 year old brake and a new model? Opinions appreciated.

If old Saints still works perfect and you are used to them, swap them and sell M420 in mint condition, this way you will get some $$$ back. Smile
