215 - Another ride out to build and ride back. Have almost fully cleared out all the salal, broom and brush. One more day with the hedge trimmer and it's on to dirt work!

198. Sitting here in A&E with a concussion. Don't ask me how it happened, as I haven't got a clue.

That's scary stuff, been there a couple times and it's quite the wake up call. Scarier than your typical injury as you never know the long term effects. Take it easy, let it heal well

Thanks man, looks like I'll be getting some building done over the next few weeks. Hopefully this one wasn't too bad, I'm feeling my normal self today (I'll leave it to others to decide if that's a good thing), so hopefully no post concussion syndrome this time. I had a bad one about 6 years ago when I felt like a different person for a couple of months afterwards. I'd really rather not experience that again, not pleasant.

Nov 8, 130 - Bert Flinn. Snowing today, so possibly that's it for the season.

Nonsense. There’s year round riding here if you want it.

Just hung up the bike for the winter and did my tally. 36 days in the Silver Star Bike Park, 10 in Whistler Bike Park, 3 in Sun Peaks Bike Park, and 1 in Revelstoke bike park. Counting up non park days on Trailforks tallies at 59. I know I missed a few that I forgot to record, so not bad for a season a bit truncated at the start due to Covid. Time to wax the skis and tune up the sled.
