Perfect! What a beatiful ride. Would love to have one with a modern geo.

Isn't a 27.5 ATX with modern geo just a Glory?

No. The ATX predates Meastro suspension platform.

Fully aware, I think I may just be too full of Christmas indulgence to be able to discern too much of a difference accounting for, what, 20 years of evolution?

That paint job is one of the sickest. It's been a while that your bike made it to my personal data base.

I get that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, it’s all subjective, nostalgia plays a large part (likely the lion’s share of its appeal) to each his own etc etc, and don’t get me wrong I get that and respect it; but I’ll be honest, I don’t think bikes age particularly well. This lacks the smooth sweeping lines of pre-eighties autos or an old coke machine. I think I this in many ways, in my mind at least, is analogous to the awkwardness of 80’s / early 90’s sports car aesthetics. Compared to smooth lines and geometry of modern bikes, I can’t say I find this bike particularly visually pleasing especially when viewed against some of the sleek carbon porn adjacent to it... again to each his own...
