Hi,

My bottom bracket is wobbling a bit so trying to get my cranks off to tighten it up.

I can't seem to get the main bolt holding it on out. It did move once then went stiff again. I should be turning this counter clock wise right?

I've tried WD40 to losen it up but no luck, any tips?

Cheers

you're using the smaller allen yeah?
the larger allen is for the retainer, the smaller pushes against the retainer for 'self extracting'

I have been trying to undo the smaller one yes. I've only been trying with an allen key, so maybe trying with a hex bit on a wrench would give me more leverage :/ or I need more muscle lol

Sorry had to ask Big Grin could use an extender bar like an old seat post on the allen key. I know E13 cranks can be a bitch to get off

They can be a pain to break loose. Do you have a dead blow hammer? Can be key along with a ratchet/socket. I bought some 1/2" drive allen sockets just for stuff like this. Having break free when you are torquing on it can result in lost teeth. LOL
