Hi guys,

Got a new Santa Cruz 5010 V3 with a Fox DPX2 on it. I’m 70kg and running 200psi in the shock so far, bottom it out multiple times every ride. Tried a 0.6 spacer in it and still bottom out. Anyone got any tips or know what I’m best doing? Not sure how a 0.8 spacer will make it feel or do I add air?

Cheers

According to the SC website, you should only be around 175 PSI at that weight with 13-15mm sag. What's your current sag? Is your 70kg weight with all of your gear on?

When are you bottoming out? Big hits, or through a chunky section?

13mm sag, checked the SC website too for that and both big hits and chunky sections really. Yeah 70/75kg geared up!

Did you .."Equalize the positive and negative air chambers by slowly compressing the shock through 25% of its travel 10-20 times after every 50 psi addition." as per the instructions?
