I have a 2013 trek fuel ex8 and my rear shock isn't holding air effectively anymore. After an average ride, I'll have lost 20-30lbs of pressure. I'd rather replace the shock with something newer rather than send it back to fox to have them service it if possible. What are my options for replacing the shock? Will any 7.25'' x 2.00'' shock fit? After totally airing out and compressing the shock, I have about 10mm of space before the rear triangle hits my seat tube, so I think I'm limited to no more than 51mm of stroke length. The current shock is the fox drcv with the CTD lever (shock code: ccmb). I thought I read that trek switched to a proprietary design for this year/model so I just want to understand what will and won't fit.
