Building a Transition Sentinel for mostly trail and a few bike park trips. I am a fairly fit 235lbs. I ride "light and smooth", but have a tendency to just send it. Anyway I'm looking at having a wheelset built and I'm on the fence about rim choice. These are three I'm considering.
Stan's Mk3 Flow(read an issue with the weld)
DT Swiss ex511
DT Swiss xm481
Need some help guys!
Thanks in advance

EX511 if you send it sometimes. A little heavier than XM481 but bulletproof.

^^ 90 grams a pair over the XM481's. You can send the 481's too. Wink Both are great rims. I'd go with either over Stan's.

I use since some years the XM481 in my Altitude and Slayer and are my most favorite rim.
Good middle between weight and durability.

For Trail riding and Enduro is a good one
If you ride very hard in the Park so would be the ex511 the better choice.

or me both of DT are better as stan
