I'm guessing buying off this site or any online site is a trust thing for delivery?

Anyone have bad experiences?

Make sure to pay with PayPal under "goods & services" then you'll have some recourse if things go south.

Just make sure to do your homework and buy from users with a good site history. I've sold quite a bit and bought a ridiculous amount of stuff off PB and never had a bad transaction.

I do wish they would implement a buyer/seller feedback score similar to what NASIOC has, but thats just gravy.

To add to the above...If your buying a bike, or fork, get Detailed pic's. Make sure you and the seller are in agreement on all points brought up. Ask questions re: cond. if the fork has been serviced lately, stuff like that.

If not, back out.

Thanks everyone. I'm looking at buying some new saint brakes from someone in B.C.

Haven't used PayPal I'll look that up.

This is a good read.
Any other questions to ask for possible flaws, condition etc?
Where do frames typically start to crack etc?

OP with Paypal, set it up before paying as it takes a bit waiting for the miniscule depot to confirm accounts etc.
