dude, ive had both and i would say get the kyle straight's. they are rewaly comfy, as long as u dont mind a cuple of marks/cuts on ur legs every now and then. i hate the race lights

i hate plastic leg protection......

negatives = HOT f*cking unbearable at times when hike a biking

they tend to crack and scratch easier......and are bulky and heavy

the 661s Strait can be worn nicely under some jeans

TI¨P OF THE DAY when wearing shinpads long johns come in handy underneath the actuall staps.......if its cold out BONUS

race light are shite, i got both... dont get racelight, and if you buy say, a large, then they cover most of your shins anyways. which is what i did

i find them fine. good protection and fit well and they are wrap around so back of the leg protection too.

I have both of them. Just got the Kyle Strait knee ones a week ago. Personally I like the Kyle Strait ones better but both are very nice. I like the knee ones because of how light and comfortable they are.

I ran the RaceLites last season, and I hated them. When they stayed up, they were great, but they would slip down my leg every 30 seconds, and that was bad for racing. The Straits, and the Patriot are both very nice. I have the Patriots now, and I'm really happy.

I have the same problem with my RaceLites.

The race lights are good when riding downhill but as soon as you get off to push back up I find that it restricts the calf muscle movement and it burns like hell.
