Looking for wheels wondering if I can change hub size.

2mm of lateral flex in the rear triangle is definitely not a lot to ask. You'd probably be fine just tightening/stretching the rear as needed.
Did you measure the spacing between on your bike or is it actually spec'd at 150mm?

if you are buying new wheels, you should buy the correct sized hub.

What about the disc mount? wont there be issues there? What about chain line? and the existing axle width?

I think there is more to consider than how compliant an alloy frame is.

It’s specs at 150, and thank you didn’t think about the disk! Wondering if anyone has tried before?

Can you post link to bike specs? 150 is new to me for rear hub in MTB world, 12x148 or maybe 12x157 is way more common....

150 was common DH hub standard. Prevalent 10 yrs ago
