Will 9sp chain work with 10sp deraileur and cassette?

Hey guys, on my dh bike I got old Sram X.7 derailleur. But it started shifting badly and I got from a friend used Shimano Zee derailleur, shifter and cassette. But I only have a new KMC 9 speed chain. Do you think it will work with no big problems?

No, you will have much noise from the drivetrain. Chains are cheap, buy a new one.
