Hi folks,

I am a new member here and totally stoked that I have found this great forum. The purpose of this post relates to a vintage Diamondback Interval TG roadbike frame that I got from a friend of mine! check image here. It's just the frame. Do you think it's worth taking it to a bike store and have new (wheels+tires+seatpost and saddle)? or it's better to buy a new bike with the amount I might need to spend on the bike store?

Personally, I'd like the buy the missing components and install them by myself and only go the bike shop when needed!

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance Smile

You would probably do better for responses on road and touring or vintage and fixed gear sections Buddy. Smile

Edit, see you've tried that already.

If your Friend gave you the bike and it doesn't have any sentimental value to you I would look into a new bike then buy second hand cheap parts and build this bike yourself just for fun and a learning experience.
