Quick question.

I just recently switch from 27.5 to 29 and have a loud Ping sound that emulates from hard hits on the rear. I’m not sure if it’s my brake rotor flexing over, maybe the brake pads moving or echo through the larger wheels from my cassette. Any experiences from this happening?

Never happened to me and I recently(about a week ago) made the switch from 26ers to 29ers.

Check the spoke tension as loose spokes can sometimes make a ping/twang sound on hard impacts.
