turns out I have an S50 Motor and trans, my car used to be an automatic as well. (m3 motor trans)

I also need new CV axles, stock ones are poopdicksupreme, putting in m3 ones because they bolt in and are stronger, also stronger trans mounts and valve cover gasket and stainless steel header coming up at the same time.

which means I have somewhere around 270hp and 280ftlbs with the dinan chip. woot woot

Indeedy, I have a whopping 54 unrestricted ponies.

It's alright. It'll keep up with traffic fine. If you want to overtake in any reasonable time though, your gonna have a bad day.

Had 100mph out of it downhill...

But in other news. I went into Halfords today, (a shop I presume is the British version Canadian tire) got my stuff, came out. There was steam coming out of the grill and a big fat dirty puddle right under the engine bay. It looked like something out of a film.... Anyways it'd dumped all the coolant. Called recovery he re filled it, we turned the engine on and a hose had split. He put a new pipe on it and away we went.

The other worrying thing is that he seemed to skip over the fact that there was oil in the coolant! As im sure all of you know das ist nicht gut!

Really dunno what to do with it. Im loosing love for it. Don't really have much confidence to do much more than a 20 mile journey in it.

Infinity is too blah and Alpine is way over priced for the quality of stuff you get.
