That thing better have some low 10's in it...Otherwise I'd say you messed up somewhere. Although FWD does suck. 600 HP in a lightweight car should be in the low 10's allll day. Regardless I like it. Very clean.

I'll tell you where he messed up... 600hp... FWD...

Mine had torque steer at 200hp. I can't imagine what that sucker must be like to drive. But yeah that thing should be in the mid to high 10's.

I drove a gutted jetta with 340whp and I almost hit a pole because of the torque steer. granted no suspension work was really done (cheap C/O's and camber plates).

IMO 600hp in a street car that's FWD is kinda silly. But I think 600hp in a street car period is kinda silly. Since I've pretty much grown out of the "I have to have a fast car so I can win every red light race against prius' and civics so my Ego looks huge phase"

It's a nice car though.

And we had a party at our house for Ians birthday. We had a pretty good number of drifters in From the wetcoast at my house, the dodo logic crew, drift union, the rest of drift safari, to name a few... Shit was hectic here well over 30 people in this tiny ass house...

ya fwd isnt good for anything, i can throw 600hp into a fwd car and throw 600hp into a rwd car and rwd will win everytime. front wheels have to pull the car behind them which doesnt let you lay power down as effectively as of rear wheels push the car out in front of them making it a lot easier. just go out in your driveway throw the car in neutral and pull the car then push the car, tell whats a more effective way of making the car move.

Actaully the car weights 3300 lbs, so its no lightweight. Also still on stock DSG tranny and open diff to boot.
I don't drive like a douche on streets, so the car pretty tame around town and somewhat enjoyable.


as for coments fwd vs rwd, so what thats racing you learn to adapt and progress. While some people waste time debating about it, others like myself, do work and go faster....

I don't hate all FWD cars...but...they just have some bad looking cars in the history of FWD.

i don't hate fwd, just prefer the alternatives, i think mk1-mk3 vw, honda ek's, and rsx's look good. there's a bunch more but i don't feel like listing them.

Tell that to alot rwd car drivers that lost to equally powered fwd carsat import vs domestic world cup finals this year..

Seriously not picking sides. I grew up racing tons of cars. From shifter karts, to sprint cars and usac midgets

With new technology and more experince,(I.E shock valving, corner weight changes, tranny design and suspension geomertry) FWD cars have become way more effecient at putting power down, than pervious years. To set there and blindly say if i put XXX hp in FWD car and same XXXhp in a RWD car and the RWD car wins everytime, is really niave
