oh i see. well it will be a lot of fun and it doesnt really cost to much to hop up an old v8 a little bit. I guess that's whats kind of nice about old american cars

the only real picture I have of the down tubes before the skidplate went on. It started to rain, and surface rust formed so I painted it first chance I got. The tubing is all 1 3/4", and they tie into the frame where the steering rack mounts.

With the skidplate on. The light belongs to the guy who built it, I just borrowed it for a weekend in the desert. there are 3 tabs on the top tube for lights, I'm thinking I'm going to put 3 smaller LEDs on them once I can afford them.

Overall, I'm really happy with how it came out. Its extremely strong and looks bad ass in person. The LED is bright too, if anyone wants pics of it on I can post some up

The TL is a fun car. Guy I went to high-school with had a TL-S and he got in deep doo doo for speeding in it on the highway.

You are getting a TL in the end? No BMW?

Yeah, I bought the TL pictured (A-Spec). I pick it up today and drop the Mazda off. It was slightly cheaper than the BMW, local, plus the maintenance should be half the cost. I also went for four doors and FWD so I could drive year round.

The beater was a 2000 Mazda Protege 5 spd I bought a week ago. I razed it last night, thought I was going to loose the transmission.
