Wow, that is impressive @jarradlawrence . Now you got me thinking about doing my Charcoal 160. Hmm. Was it difficult removing all the bearings? How long did it take?
I taped the bearings up very well, and was cautious around them, worked a treat. For just the paint stripping its self, it took about 30 mins to do the whole lot.

Wow, epic! Have to give a go once I destroy my paint job a little more. Cheers
Does anyone run a 27.5 front wheel? Photos please.. I am thinking about increase the travel to 180mm and put a 27.5 wheel.. 180mm will be the best option to keep the geometry? Or maybe is better a 170mm travel to have the option to run a 29er (will it be an issue? warranty avoid?) and also be able to run a 27.5...? Thank youu

pretty sure theres 20mm between a 27.5 and a 29er.
The GT guys with the force 27.5 change from 170/150 to 150/150. those bikes are stupid fast though

Thank you for you information! I am in doubt if I buy a Lyrik 180mm, a Lyrik 170mm or a Zeb 170mm (Zeb is 5 or 6mm larger measuring axle to crown). I think that with Zeb 170mm or Lyrik 170mm (5mm shorter than Zeb) I will be able to run 29 and 27.5 wheel... What is your thought about that? Thank you friend! And sorry about my poor English..
I am running a 27.5 front wheel and 170 fork due to high school self funding because I bought a frame. The BB is super low, when climbing I have to be super careful with the pedals so I don’t hit anything. Maybe with a 29er fork it’s different, I don’t know.

If you want to get geeky, a 29er and 27.5 with the same tires will 38mm apart, so 19mm in actual height increase of the hub, so yes a 20mm increase should preserve the geo well, the only thing in question is the offset, you might have to run a 44 on 27.5.
Blew out the Bomber CR so threw on my backup X2. Not quite as good of small bump compliance as the coil, but definitely felt more lively with a lot more bottom out support. Will probably keep this set up for park days or more poppy playful trails and stick with the coil for trail riding with a lot of chunder. It was a quick take off from another bike so I need to play with the settings, but the initial ride felt pretty good and my setup was as follows: 190 lb rider weight 230psi, 3 volume spacers LSR 13 HSR 8 LSC 8 HSC 10 (clicks CCW)
