So I’m building a Ragley Marley , and it’s recommending a 130mm fork. I happen to have a 130 fox 34 performance elite 29er sitting in the garage and want to use that instead of buying a 27.5 specific fork. My main question is this, how much taller is the 29er fork vs the 27.5 and should I adjust it to make the geo work, or will I be perfectly fine with a slacker bike? I ride mostly XC trails, and I’m building this bike to be fast and playful.

Thanks in advance Beer

It will slacker the head angle a bit, and be taller by 10-15mm I wouldn't worry about it I have a mmmbop that I overforked and you can barely tell the difference. If anything it might be just a pinch slower to turn but we aren't pro racers lol. I would say just do it. Cheers
