I have a 74mm (x41mm-ish) non-threaded BB shell. I need cranks and a press fit bb. What spindle diameters are an option for 74mm press fit BB, I've seen 19, 22, and 24mm, are there others? I want mtb style cranks not bmx style. No more than 165mm cranks, DONT want blue, purple, light green, white, chrome, raw or red. Needs to be compatible with no more than a 30T chainring. Under $150, any options? Used, new, poor condition whatever I don't care.

Ive been completely sleuthing the internet, and I cant find anything that's why I turned to the forum. I was just wondering if anyone knows of anything of the top of there head. I guess I don't really know where to look or even what to look for. I've mostly been surfing Google (very broad selection for a lot of what I'm not looking for) Ive checked pinkbike and have not found anything. There's got to be something I just don't know where. I'm also looking for more information on what to look for. Are MID BB my only option? There are so many options, I don't know what will work. I'm also looking for information on square taper spindles

Any Shimano hollowtech II crankset will work. I got a SLX crankset for $70 a couple months ago, so look out for good deals. Also you can run a smaller chainring on the inner tabs if you move it to another bike.

Thanks so much, I just needed to know what would work, almost all of the items I looked at didn't have the necessary specs displayed so I had no way of knowing if they would work. Just to clarify, this hollowtech II BB is 73mm shell length? Also do all BB shells have the same diameter? If not, is this one 41mm (or whatever is closest)? Also what is the spider bolt circlr diameter?

To be honest, I've never owned a bike with a press-fit bb, but I learned from the Park Tool bb page. The bb I linked before has a 41mm inside diameter, which is a common size. PF41 is also known as BB86, BB89.5, BB92, BB107, BB132, SHIMANO® PRESS-FIT, PF24. Shimano cranks use a 24mm spindle, but there are also bb's for 28.99mm (Dub), and 30mm (Raceface, etc.)

For the cranks linked, they use a direct mount chainring. The previous generation of Shimano cranks (M7000, M8000, etc) used a 96mm asymmetric bcd chainring. The asymmetric bcd is specific to Shimano.

Let me know if you have any more questions
