Hello

Just bought new drivetrain.
GX eagle shifter, rear derailleur, GX casette 10-52, chainring and XX1 chain.
and it is impossible to get it shift properly.
Changed the hanger all cables and hosing. (old hanger was straight, cables was smooth)
Bike was in 3LBS and none of the mechanics can setup it properly.
1/8 of a turn on barrel adjuster and some of the gear wont shift up. 1/8 back and it shifts good.
Go through all gears= works. go again and 3of them are off. either down or upshits. sometimes 2. down or upshifts. sometimes both

Im desperate.
I was running x01 1x11 before. with no issue...

Cannot see that cage is bent. but i think it is flawed somehow.
did anyone experienced that ?

Not sure how you haved set it up or the shop mechanics but....

How's the B-Screw gap? Do you have the B-SCrew measurement tool from SRAM? I allow a few mm less for Sag (work solo on my bike and no way the wife would be able to help there).

Set the limit screws with un tensioned cable, dial out the barrel adjuster maybe 6 half turns, then tension the cable and clamp it (not to much tension on the cable when you clamp it). Set your B-Tension and then use the barrel adjuster to dial it in.

After destroying my GX cassette (lasted nigh on 2 years or hard trail use), I'm upgrading to X01, all except the cranks which remain GX for now. Sticking with 10-50 as I don't see the point of 52.

Hope you get your drive train dialed in.

It was done by new tool (white one). B gap adjustment is correct.
local mechanics are working with this kind of drivetrains. and they were bummed.
I will try it one more time today after work.
if it not help I will return it.

is the derailleur the new GX one and not the old one? the old one will not work with the 520%.

Hello

chainring is garbaruk 32t with 3mm offset = boost
casette is new GX 10-52
mech and shifter are new one for 10-52 lunar
chain is Sram XX1 12speed oil slick.
cable and hosing is from jagwire.
hanger is new from commencal. old one was not bent. it was mesured by park tool tool for hangers in 3different shops.
but I changed it anyways. just to be sure.

so... went through whole setup again. it seems that B gap under sag was off by 1-2mm. floating shifting disappeared.
still not crisp as x01 11sp was. but good enough to keep it. I would say that 90% shifts good.
