I’m building up a Nomad 4 with a M8000 boost crank and want to check what spacers people are using on their bottom brackets.

For a 73mm shell Shimano say to use 1 x 2.5mm spacer on the driveside but this puts the crank a long way out and then I need about 10mm of spacers for my oneup chain device.

Is it better to install as recommended, swap the spacer to non driveside or use no spacers?

I would ditch the shimanos & get a sram dub xo1 carbon if i were you. So much easier to set & forget
