Hey guys, I am currently riding a Kona process 134 29 2021. This thing has been a beast. I have beginner-intermediate skill level. I use to ride a hard tail, and I enjoyed it so much because it made green/blue trails fun and challenging. The problem I am having right now is the Kona process is making things a little too easy. I don't do jumps, drops or anything too rowdy. I am seriously considering going back to a hard tail just to make things fun and challenging again. I also enjoy the fact that it was a bit easier to climb compared to the Kona process, which allows me to ride more. What do you guys think? Is this a good decision or am I crazy? I am looking at possibly the Santa Cruz Chameleon 29er (aluminum). Any suggestions? Thank you

I would go for the chameleon or the Kona honzo.

Or a specialized fuse

Yeah I'm leaning more towards the chameleon. I was also possibly considering the honzo ESD

Demo both if you can, there can be huge differences in ride quality between alloy and steel frames.
