Been thinking to get another rear wheel 27.5 for my rift zone 29. What i understand changing from 29er to 27.5 will lowered my bb height. offset bushing will do to maintain geometry. but will it increase my rear travel ? thanks

Offset bushing changes the eye-to-eye lenght of the shock, while keeping the travel unchanged. Usually those were used to slacken the bike and I have no idea how it works the opposite way, in theory it should work.

Keep in mind that using offset bushings will most likely void your frame warranty tho, check with Marin to be sure.

let say that this offset bushing act as flip chip. usually people using it to slacken the bike. I use the opposite way to raise the bb by add more eye to eye of shock and de slack a headtube angle to maintain the geometry. For front travel will be using 140mm travel instead of 130mm

yeah, need to check with marin about the warranty.
