Lately, I have been snapping/ bending Shimano Derailleurs. They have been anywhere from Deore to XTR. Any advice on how to stop bending/ snapping the cages? Thanks.

Yes, a 10 speed XTR, 12 speed NX, and a 10 speed Deore

Did you built / set them up youself?
I can only think of either bad luck, or a too short chain.

How and when did they bent / snap?

The SRAM NX one I set up myself and the other ones came stock on a bike. The part that gets bent/snapped is the cage.
