21 - Biggest ride of 2021 so far at 28 km. Rode from Cinnabar trail network, to Extension trail network, to Ridgerunner trail network..then up South Benson, down Whole Duff. Getting in a good one before the snow falls tonight. Nabbed a 5th overall on the lower half of Whole Duff after 20 km and 800 meters of riding Big Grin

Hi Devin and all Salute

I’ve occasionally lurked over the years and was inspired to join for 2021.

Hoping to try to post a pic or vid from each ride, not that I’m great at riding or pics or vid... but figure that trying will lead to improvement Redface

Mystic, you got me thinking and inspired me to buy a Gopro and start recording my rides. Here is the first video from my #4 ride of the year yesterday. Still figuring the camera out, settings, angles, etc. Hoping to progress my riding AND my videography skills this year!

I have absolutely ZERO photography/videography knowledge or experience, so bear with me as I (hopefully) get better! Redface

You caught some amazing light PAC!

And it looked like you nailed the camera angle... pretty stable too!

What GoPro... any gimbal or digital stabilization?

Thanks Mystic! Gopro Hero 9 no gimbal, just the electronic stabilizaton within the Hero 9. I did buy the mod wide angle lens as well, but haven't fiddled with it yet.

Thank-You! Just the stock hub. TBH, I haven't even looked to see what it is! LOL Whatever was on the stock 2020 CF Comp 29er.
