19: cyclocross bike - lap of the river pathways this morning to test out the wrist and shoulder after my 6 weeks of forced couch potato-dom. Shoulder has healed up just fine, wrist not so much. Still get quite a jab of pain from my thumb up my wrist if I bend it too far or the wrong way, been using it as an excuse not to do dishes the last six weeks. Bought a mobius X8 wrist brace (and have been using a cheap drug store brace for regular around the house and out and about stuff) which seemed to work pretty good during this morning's paved ride. Boy did my lungs burn on my one and only climb up the Edworthy Park road.

18: fatbike - managed one lap of ranger/strange brew (plan was for three ranger climbs yesterday) but a rut rammed my right wrist/shoulder/upper arm into a solid 10" diameter spruce (I was booking it when i hit). Wrist is swollen and very sore, shoulder seems ok but I have a pop/sharp jabbing pain in my upper arm that I'm going to get checked out today, no riding for me for a while.
X-ray shows my wrist is fine but I have a cracked scapula. Six weeks of no riding. Emergency doctor found it weird to break the scapula from impact since its at the back. Thanks for the well wishes from everyone.
83 - Rode out at 6:00 am yesterday to catch the sunrise from one of the lower Westwood ridges. Then did a couple of laps and went home for breakfast. Then at 11 rode from home to the wife's trail and did a solid 3 hours of touch up building, fixing up corners and smoothing out rough sections. Then rode a few laps before riding home. Was a very big day, I am wrecked this morning.
84- Dyer Park race; dodged a nasty storm by seconds, it looked like a wall of black creeping towards the course. Used the enduro bike and it worked surprisingly well.
20: fatbike - up moose mountain road to the top, checked out shaft, then road back down and did Race of Spades instead, back on the highway at the end. To say I was nervous would be an understatement, but the climbing was mostly good, and Race of Spades was fantastic until near the bottom where the pack ice made me a little more tentative. It's good to be back.
