I'm just going to not even be polite after reading that, that's straight up lies, and if you want me to list specific names, companies, post screenshots of emails and webchats then keep trying to call me a liar or misinformed...I heard straight from the horses mouth who tuned that 11/6... And let's say for instance you are true on that point then that only makes your right hand man a liar...I mean it even says in the article itself it was tuned at Saddleback, so I suggest stop trying to pull wool over everyones eyes Darren as I can back up everything I say with hard evidence and if am PUSHed to do so, will do, I have nothing to lose, only protecting those companies and individuals whilst giving you an opportunity to not even necessarily come clean but take this information, act on it if you so wish and not imply people are liars or misinformed.
Unfortunately this is an example of something being lost by text. I'd be happy to setup a call with you to discuss just reach out to me at dm@pushindustries.com. I can arrange video, or phone.

I definitely am not a liar.

1. We have had a significant shortage of specialty tools until a week ago. In the UK only TF Tuned or Saddleback would have them.

2. The test shock mentioned was handled by me. I met with the editor on one of my trips to the UK. We built him a shock to test and shipped it to Saddleback in the UK. They arranged the setup with the editor. The editor asked about a slight retune to try something a little different. Saddleback reached out to us to consult on the retune and we provided that information regarding the adjustment, Saddleback performed the work and got it back in the editors hands.

I'm not sure why this seems to be turning into an argument. Regardless....something that could be quickly settled by reaching out to me directly. Happy to clear up, or answer an questions you may have. dm@pushindustries.com. I look forward to hearing from you.

Darren

I have no desire to argue, it's turning into an argument because you are implying I am misinformed or a liar, or that people I have spent an hour on the phone talking to who are absolute wizards of suspension tuning with many more years than that guy who's name starts with O at Saddleback has. I am more than happy to discuss that privately and help clarify things from both ends. I have no reason to either defend or make a mockery of PUSH, I am just stating either what I have experienced, using your shock, customer service, or what I have heard or read from speaking to various tuners in the UK..none of it is 'lies', some of it could be wrong if you are being truthful, although I have no reason to think a genuinely nice knowledgeable and helpful guy who spent an hour talking to me on the phone whilst making no money from selling me anything and his been on the world cup scene and tuning suspension for 15 years would be telling lies either.
Saddleback is in fact very new to the suspension game....this is exactly why we put the support network in place that we have. They will get there, but it does take time. In the meantime we're happy to help as a company. Again, would really like to have a discussion so ping my email and I can set it up. Look forward to hearing from you.

Woah. I logged in thinking there was six replies from people with some suggestions or experiences, and surprisingly Mr. Push himself posted LOL.

Riding the shock for the first time tomorrow....can’t wait!

Also. I contacted Push via their online chat and was answered immediately by a staff member who helped me set up the base recommendations for a warden in real time. Fantastic.

I am not happy contacting you via my personal email for various reasons. I am more than willing for you to talk to me via pm on here or I am even willing to spend the time to chat with you via live chat through the PUSH website.

My reasons for not wanting to contact you by email is that I have my full real name as my email contact and I want no involvement whatsoever on a personal level in any disputes you may raise with Saddleback, specific individuals or any other suspension tuners I may mention or reveal to you. I want to protect my anonymity and ensure that if I need future support from Saddleback for the two 11/6 shocks I own that there won't be any implications to me getting the support I need whether it be formal or of malicious intent.

You can ensure any private messages on Pinkbike or live chat we have I will keep confidential if you wish to obtain any more information or help from me, but I don't want any personal involvement in any disputes that may come of it. I have a reason to want to help you reveal what I know in order for you to take it on board and resolve the issues I may have had in the past or offer a better service in the future for your products, I can see you are very passionate about your brand and genuinely do want to offer the best shock on the market and support, but getting into public debates and one calling the other a liar isn't helping anyone. If anything it is my best interest (aside from if I need specific parts or support I can only get support from Saddleback in the future) to not reveal anything to you as it means I can send my shock in elsewhere and get shim stacks and oil changed, nitrogen pressures etc at a lower cost and with specific tuning I may desire without having PUSH dictate what is 'right' and I must use on my own bike.

That is my offer to you, like I say I more than happy to discuss this with you, but with no personal involvement.

Cheers

I don't want any personal involvement, I want to ensure I don't have to suffer the implications of people in the industry getting pissed off and not supporting the product I own in the future...and the only way to guarantee that is to keep my name anonymous.

Awesome! Our CS team is a great group of people.

Sorry for all the unrelated relies. It's a bummer that things over text get lost because of tone etc. I know once Danzzz88 and I have a chance to speak via phone/video it will all get cleared up as neither one of us actually has a beef with each other.

So what do you think, do you need help with tuning or you got that sorted now?

I think I have it dialed pretty good for south Florida. When I head to the bike parks in April, I will have to flip the switch, and start again

Maybe since you're using and enjoying this shock maybe its time to pay the guy you got it from?

That's pretty terrible if he didn't pay him, trouble is how do you know the seller isn't just saying that either...if I sold something and didn't get paid I wouldn't be all casual about it on Pinkbike, I'd report it and if he still doesn't pay make an entire thread about it to call them out on here. But sending something before being paid is plain silly.

To the person who created this thread. You have an awesome piece of hardware controlling the rear of your bike. You’ll really like it.
I bought my push shock new which wasn’t designed for my bike but had the same dimensions but made it fit. I chose the spring by trial and error according to a 25% sag. I then just tinkered with the h/l comp adjustments. If you find your sag just ride it and find what works in the dials

The Same history here, I bought the shock to fit it another bike (non suported). Same stroke and lenght.
I'll be back in a few weeks with photos of the fit and how to! Hardware, etc... . I´m very busy actually.

It is very curious that Push makes parts to modify suspensions of other brands and that the product that they manufacture cannot be modified in any way. It´s a great shock without a doubt.
