Who's going bike parking on Saturday?

Wanted: 2017 Norco Sight A7.2 (black/red) - Medium Frame - new or used - ship to Montreal

I can't find anything within Canada so far.
If anyone has a lead/idea that would be great.
And if not, maybe you know some reputable US sites/stores that might have
it and ship to Canada.

Thanks

DEEP Cove Stiffee

Hi YYC folks,

I have a 2000 Deep Cove (DC) Stiffee Beryllium/Aluminum hardtail, and it's usually been my 'kick-around' bike, but the original Hayes disc brakes have been discontinued, and I cannot find any pads. Also the old Manitou fork is in desperate need of a rebuild, but parts parts parts.

It has been to Utah, Colorado, Mt. Washington and the North shore, with me at the helm, so it's kinda sentimental.

The Shimano XTR/Deore gruppo has been bulletproof, brakes are the only issue.

Searched for replacements, to no avail.

If you owned this icon ( my opinion ) would you part out what you could and hang the frame somewhere, or just keep on searching for pads to keep this tireless workhorse going..?

Thanks,

-M.

These wouldn’t be the pads? Don’t remember if Hayes had anything before the MX but there still are a bunch available like below and oem pads on Amazon for the mx.

Thanks so much! These are not the pads, they are more rounded...if that makes sense.

They are weird pads.

Hmm thought these were quite a bit newer than 2000 but anyway... worth a shot

Seems like a waste to chuck a pair of brakes that are otherwise functional. Good luck!

After reading all the bike theft threads i never expected to have to post this but my downhill bike was stolen out of my living room early this morning. Im so effin pissed right now you have no idea. Please be on the lookout for it its a pretty rare bike these days. Yellow/black "bumble bee" paint scheme 2002 RM7 with a Shiver Front end mag 30 rims.

Really want to catch who did this so please keep an eye out. Its not a common bike at all.

Thanks

Your bike was stolen out of your living room? That's messed up/frightening.
Were you home at the time? Could it be someone you know?

Thanks to a forum member with a keen eye and on a mission to try to put a dent in the stolen bike issue I actually got my RM7, which was stolen 8 years ago, back today. Huge shout out to Clifford (Sayshell) for letting me know and putting things in motion. I feel a bit bad for Jesse who was selling the bike on Kijiji and ends up being out the money but then again it did have a ground off serial number so I guess its buyer beware and don't contribute to the issue by buying stolen bikes. Been a crappy few months unemployed so the littlest of good news always helps. Again thanks Cliff and ill send some hopefully good Karma to Jesse for at least being good about giving the bike up without a fuss. Ill try to post a pic tomorrow with it beside what replaced it, an old school RM9 lol

What a day! BTW its clearly worth posting your stolen bikes guys and gals Big Grin

Anyone have any beta on West Bragg Creek for fat biking? It has been about a week since snowpocalypse hit, have people been getting after it and packing things down?

Last trailforks report was Oct 1
Last bragg report was Oct 4 http://www.braggcreektrails.org/report/

Hopefully not because that packed snow takes longer to melt, should be back riding fun bikes on dirt when the warm weather comes next week

Hey anyone know hat happened to 24 Hours of Adrenaline Canmore this year? I know they had a dispute with the CNC around fees etc and it looked like it was cancelled but the website is still up.

If you go out, please let me know how it is as I'm considering heading out this weekend!

Hey Alberta Crew

I just got a fat bike and Im jonsin to join up with some peeps and go for a ride.

I'm wondering if there is a group within PB that heads out every once in a while? Im located near lethbridge but can make my way up to Calgary as my sister lives up there.

Cheers

Got a RM Blizzard, entry level but it rides pretty sweet!
