I have had to take some time off due toa surgery.

I don't think I would have noticed other wise.

My tire (continental kaiser apex) has several spots that are wet and shiny looking. A few of them are on the sidewall. The majority are on the tread.

Tire pressure is still good. However the spots have continued to grow.

Are these tires unsafe?

I just warranted another kaiser for having a bubble in the tread.

I think I am done apologizing for continental.

Wet spots are not a problem as far as it hold air it will do just fine. Had same case on some maxxis tyre, never had any issue with it other that how it looks Smile

Agreed not an issue. You may notice that you need to add air a little more frequently between rides but not a safety problem

Thank you for responding

I have not had this issue before.

If the tire is fine I will be happy to keep them as they are just about perfect for my riding and trails.

Some casings are more airtight than others and some sealants are more prone to weeping.

Be sure to top up your fluid as needed. Certain fluids in certain tires may last as little as a month, especially in hot weather, while others could last a year.

So maybe a little more information will help get better understanding for me

I am using the 2.4 continental kaiser apex 2 4
With the mucoff sealant (I was able to buy liters of the stuff for cheap)

I know that continental has had some issues with leaky sidewalls.

Maybe the Mucoff is more prone to thus issue?

Thank you all
