Only did a quick street ride so far, haven’t been in the trails yet. What I can say is that the motor is nearly dead silent. Feels more powerful. Definitely lighter by a couple of pounds. Fox suspension feels really good as well as the DW link. Also very impressed with the Hayes Dominion brakes. Great modulation and lots of stopping power.
Aesthetic wise I like the look better also. Just not a fan of the Enve decals. Too much going on with that. Probably going to remove those soon. Rim decals don’t last long anyway in my rock infested trails.
Will report back once I get a good ride in the woods.
Commencal 24" with custom resetbikes.com kit and battery one of the best looking bikes I've converted. 100wh batteries 30-180w power enough for 10+ Miles and 250m Climbing if your a wee rider.
Just working on new build of an old heckler converting it to 24" for smaller legs.
38 to 42lb seems to be the best range in terms of weight for dh oriented ebikes, regardless of travel. 63 to 64 HA, long ish WB relative to travel. New lightweights just came out, with the new Rise (which I still think is kinda shlt) and the new Lumen. 35lb is light for 50nm plus motored ebikes. 2025 ebikes with 170mm or more will be like 36lbs. Good times.
No real ETA's known yet. I know my shop is getting their demo models somewhere in March/April. For an M-LTD deliveries should start in May, but if you have a Myo configuration, it might take till the end of the year before it gets delivered.
First ride today. Have to tweak suspension, as well as power/torque settings in the app. Hayes Dominion brakes are excellent. DW Link is lively and playful. Dead silent bike, can't hear motor, cables, chain slap, derailleur, etc. Feels very light and nimble. Glad I went with a size up too!
