Hi, I'm trying to get comfortable on a 24 inch wheeled bike. I'm in the UK and not in my youth any more! I've built DMR Rhythms and more recently a really nice Curtis MX24 to play around on, but I just feel like my height and weight can't move around much its on top of the bike and i'm over the front too easily, and accelerating the front end wants to lift and jump. I'm 6ft 2 w long legs. I've fitted a 60mm stem which helped a bit.
I've been offered a Sect 24 which I've looked at before, on paper it is 570mm TT (22.5") and the Curtis is 546 (21.75") Wheel base is similar as the Sect has a shorter rear. Seat angle is a few degrees slacker on the Sect so will there really be half inch difference stood on the pedals?
Curtis doesn't have a BB Drop really but the sect does (25mm), so that'll sit me in the bike more and suit my 100mm fork and 50mm rise bars better
Other alternative is to give up on it for now or a custom build like Invictus.
