2018 Canyon Spectral CF 9.0 - serial number?

Hi,

I have had an accident this weekend as a result of the chainstay part of my frame snapping while riding?

I have seen online that this has been an issue with American Canyon bikes, but not UK bikes. My issue appears to be the same as those of American bikes however.

The bike is around 2 and a half years old.

Having spoken to Canyon this morning, they have asked for a serial number, which they say is on the frame on the underside of the bottom bracket? There is absolutely nothing in that area on my bike? Can anyone advise further?

Want my bike fixed ASAP.

it should be on one side of the bottom bracket, a series of numbers and letters. occasionally you also get little stickers that say it, but mostly it is imprinted in the frame. other than that, I can't really tell you anything and i really don't want to show you mine (for obvious reasons).

that is where my serial no was along with a QR code label. underside of BB.
