I bought this bike last year from an auction in Toronto. Upgraded the brakes on it. Took it on a few trails, and a few people said its a really cool old bike.
I want to see if I can get a new fork for it as it has been damaged.
It has had all stickers removed, but I'm pretty sure it has a GIANT logo near the rear axle (see picture).
Can anyone shed any light on what this bike is? The frame is carbon if that helps!

Can't figure out how to upload pictures on this platform ,but see the pictures here: here

Giant CADEX series, c. 1993-1994. Likely the CFM-3 version if the LX derailleur is stock.

Definitely a Giant Cadex. Loved it for years and sold it like an idiot. I had a CFM3 back in 93 with a Rochshox Mag 10 and then bought a CFM2 later like maybe early 2000s. I always thought it would be cool to machine SS dropouts for it and swap out the original since they are bold on.

For a fork you need a 1 1/8 straight steer tube for 26" wheels. Maybe on older Rockshox or Manitou
