Trek Remedy Shock Compatibility

I’m looking to upgrade the shock on my 2020 Remedy. I would like to get the new Fox Float X shock, the only hang up being the trek re:active shock that is currently on the bike is a trunnion mount. The new Float X is only offered in the right size (230x57.5) in a standard mount. Would I be able to make this work with some adapters to span the space between the link and the shock mount? Or is this totally unfeasible?
