2021 TREK RAIL 9.8 rEAR bRAKE LINE

Im upgrading the brakes on the Trek Rail from the SLX it came with to XTR Im curious if anyone else has successfully removed the rear brake line that trek was nice enough to run through the frame. I cant use same line as SLX and XTR connectors are not even close. Lemme know thanks fellas.

i did this an i wanted to punch myself, if i was going to do again i would make the old lines work or take to LBS and i never do that lol
