Sticky XT Brake Lever?

So I crashed and hit my Shimano XT brake lever on a tree and the lever feels kinda sticky. The braking performance is spot on, but it doesn't go all the way back to the extended position when I pull the break. I kept riding the rest of the day, and It got slightly better, but Is there a way for me to fix it entirely? Thanks!
