Possibly smaller frames with a lower standover height? The past gen Pivot Firebird smalls & mediums had some frame clearing issues with piggyback shocks. Offsetting could allow the shock to fully compress just missing the end of reservoir

any update on the dh axs
There doesn't seem to be anyone running it on the W.C. Circuit so I am not even sure it is something that is being pursued at this time.

Looks like Transition is releasing a new bike tonight at midnight pst. Looks to be another e-bike to follow up the release of the 160/160 Repeater earlier this year. Looks to be a Fox 36 Performance up front, so maybe a short travel "E-Scout" with 150/140?

def an e bike. looks short travel. Maybe even 130 or maybe a 150/130 thing. e bikes sustain more forces so a 34 on a normal bike of the same travel might be replaced by a 36 on its electric counterpart.

So it's called the "Relay"

Getting a bit off topic from the thread but the idea of an all-in-one e-bike with a smaller 430Wh/90Nm battery, easy removal for non-ebike use and relatively normal looking frame dimensions is an attractive idea you're probably gonna see a lot of manufacturers offering soon. Definitely getting the gears turning in the concept departments if they aren't already exploring this idea

https://www.srsuntour.us/collections/rear-shock/products/voro-coil

"New", but not actually new, coil shock from SR Suntour, it's called the Voro.

Now finally available for purchase after we've seen it on their team riders bikes for ages. Could be an interesting budget alternative.
