I will be traveling to San Francisco in August. I am looking for a bike to borrow or rent for about 8-10 days. I wanted something to commute around the city with and use for a 4 mile commute to my training class. I have a lock and am responsible for not leaving the bike unattended for too long. I will have access to secure overnight storage.

Just buy something for a hundred bucks off craigslist when you arrive then donate it to a bike coop when you leave. And a heads up, SF has an appalling rate of bike theft, and it's effectively decriminalized, so don't expect any help if your ride disappears.
