Is there a way to fast track edits or new trails? I seem to wait ages before they get added and end up having queues of edits waiting to go.
fairly typical scenario for me - find some new trail or road, check TF, it's been added wrong, edit the thing and update the other stuff around it, wait for xxxxx time then can continue.
drives me nuts :[

unrelated how can I get rid of the rejected edits?

When it comes to new content, there are three ways a trail is approved or rejected. The Trailforks community votes on your submission and when it hits the threshold it is either approved for rejected. A local or Regional admin will approve or reject your submission. Or a global admin will step in and take action. As a global admin, I try and leave things in the queue for a minimum of 10days to allow the other "systems" to work.

The edit approval process works in two ways. Local or regional admins approve or reject your submission, or a global admin step in and approve or rejects your edits. As a global admin, Just like new submissions I try and not have content sit more than 10 days in the queue, so as to let the local or regional admins have time to review and take action.

As for rejected edits, I do not believe they stick around in your rejected "bin" only new submissions. But you can resubmit a rejected submission. The video linked below explains the process of resubmitting a rejected submission.

I've now been waiting 3 days and my newly added trail is still pending, just added another one now too.

so exasperating.

who can I contact to get this stuff added sooner? this sucks the enjoyment out of this.

I rode this trail [and offshoots] yesterday to get GPS data to add them.

I explained this in my post above, but I approved all your submissions and edits.

Does anyone know how I find out who the local trail admin is, if I even have one?
I've got a dozen edits sitting in limbo and more exploring planned for the weekend

Been waiting 11 days now for a new trail to be approved.
The trail/track itself has existed for decades however.

If it makes you feel better, I had an edit approved this week (just correcting the spelling of a riding area name) that had been sitting there waiting since Dec 2019!

A mate added a new riding area a week or so back for some trails here but no idea when that will get approved.

2019? Ouch, I'd have made noises about that a bit sooner eh!
